| Standish Lawder |

Film,
photography and teaching are Standish's passions. He recently retired
from his position as professor and department chair of the Visual Arts
Department at the University of California, San Diego. Standish also taught
film at Harvard and Yale Universities and has been internationally recognized
for his work in avant-garde film making. Recipient of Guggenheim and American
Film Institute Fellowships along with several NEA grants, he received
his PhD in Art History from Yale in 1967. Standish currently works primarily
with stereoscopic imagery and exhibited most recently at the Auraria gallery.
Lawder is the Director/Founder of Denver Darkroom, the premier teaching
